Hi Pi, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my nail journey in 2017 and quickly interested in Gel-X, which streamlined the application process for professionals. This innovation allowed our technicians to work more efficiently, deliver faster service, and build a loyal client base contributing significantly to the growth and success of my business. I had also been searching for an alternative to traditional acrylics for something healthier, more efficient, and modern. That’s when I discovered soft gel extensions Apres, which completely changed the game. This innovation aligned perfectly with my vision and allowed me to offer clients a safer, more effective nail solution.
Business was growing steadily; however, until the unexpected challenges of COVID-19 hit. Like many others, I faced both highs and lows during the pandemic. But through resilience, adaptability, and the support of our team and clients, I pushed through.
At the beginning of 2022, as the industry began to bounce back, I rebranded my very first salon. Alongside two business partners, we launched Lanicure Nail Bar which is a fresh start and a bold new chapter for our brand.
In July 2025, I launched my second salon Base Nail Bar.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been mix of smooth and rough along my journey. I would say Covid-19 was a most challenging when everything was shut down including cosmetic services.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I’m proud to specialize in GelX nails that delivering high quality shape, style, and long lasting results.
I also specialize in nail art, creating unique and beautiful designs to clients.
