Hi Ortega, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Well, I grew up in Inglewood California, my parents would always play old school music such as Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, etc.
also, hiphop and R&B was always around me and in my existence. I’ve always enjoyed singing, and to be blessed with a gift to share with the world is a great pleasure…
My story runs deep. I’ve been through many jails and prison systems; lost in a world where my hope disappeared.. but, I truly found myself to be gifted with a musical talent. Overcoming my mistakes in the past and rebuilding myself took time.. I now create music that I can share with not only the world, but to those that feel what I’ve felt, and been through what I’ve been through.
Calighostmusic is very special and I’ve created my name to be a positive influence on those that are broken inside..
I’ve worked very hard to get to where iam now, it took many shows and performances!; it’s a lot of work but when it’s being done for the people, life hits different.
My music is medicine and I’m always aligned with the melodies of the universe and supplying the world with greatness…
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a lot of struggles to get to where I am now, but the key is to stay faithful, don’t give up, work hard, sometimes life will deal you a bad hand in the beginning but your commitment will overpower those obstacles.

I am a Singer/Songwriter, R&B Artist, signed to Beyond Bangerz entertainment LLC. I create beautiful music that captures the soul, sharing my greatness with all people. I’m known as Calighostmusic, with hits such as (Ball of Fire) ( weight in gold) ( famous) and many more from my catalog; music streaming on all platforms. I love my community and supporting all with open arms and great music.
I’m most proud of being able to be apart of someone life. My music is medicine and if it can just make one person smile, I’m happy.
