Today we’d like to introduce you to No Suits. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Sajan and Max became friends in Kindergarten. One day Max told Sajan, “When we grow up, we have to be entrepreneurs and never wear suits to work.” This was the inception of no suits. There were inklings of musical projects before but it wasn’t until Freshmen year of college that we started making music under the no suits moniker. Junior of college, we had a jam session with Reed and something clicked. We forged ahead as a group and started to really take things seriously in 2019. Since then, we’ve had some crazy moments like going viral on Reddit and Imgur, embarking on our first tour, garnering over 35 Million streams across platforms, and hopefully inspiring anyone else on the journey of rejecting the suit mentality.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s been relatively smooth but there are always challenges. We had a tour planned with Kota the Friend but the pandemic hit and obviously, shows were not a thing for a while. Then there’s the constant challenge of songwriting – some tracks take a long time to make, others never see the light of day.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We make vibes – hopefully, good ones. We pride ourselves in the uniqueness of our songs. We don’t strive to be unique just for the sake of being unique but rather would like to supply the vibe that you can’t get anywhere else.

The best part about LA is the melting pot of culture. It’s refreshing how many pockets there are rich with a diversity of experiences.
The hustle culture is real and inspiring in LA but the worst part is that it can be exhausting.
