Life & Work with Mack Cannarsa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mack Cannarsa.

Hi Mack, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
Ciao a tutti! My name is Mikale Cannarsa, Mack for my friends. 

I was born close to San Francisco in Marin County. 

From a young age, I grew up in Rome, Italy. 

My story in the United States begins again in Miami, Florida, where I was visiting to escape the pandemic. I took this time to enjoy the sun, conducting a healthy lifestyle. 

I was scouted from one of the coolest agent for modeling, Eric Stern. 

Eric invited me to Los Angeles to sign with the agency Photogenics LA. 

Two weeks later, I landed in Los Angeles, super exited for the opportunity to work with top brands in the industry. 

I’m very grateful to be part this family. 

I love living in LA. It’s hard to stay indoors, weather is great, working is great, and the nightlife is a blast. 

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and to sing. My music preference is heavy metal and electronic music. I also enjoy hip-hop music. 

I stay fit with my own workout regiment (being an ex-athlete), and I’m taking boxing classes a couple of times a week. 

Currently, I’m pursuing this opportunity by joining a startup restaurant serving Italian cuisine called SPINA in the heart of At Water Village. 

This is giving me the opportunity to use my educational background in hotel, food, and beverage management. I enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant life. 

Come through for some homemade pasta and a glass of Italian wine!!!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I experienced many struggles and challenges in the beginning, with language, urban culture, and moving around. I spent a lot of time alone; eventually, I found the confidence to meet people even tho I was still in difficulty with the language.

I’m a signed model, my agency is Photogenics LA, and I’m an aspiring musician. 

What do you think about happiness?
Life. I’ve been giving a great life, challenges, growth, friends, family, travel, work, and the opportunity to share my story with articles such as this.
