Life & Work with Ivanna of Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivanna.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, with a proud Italian heritage. Growing up, I was always drawn to creative expression — whether it was through modeling, dance, gymnastics, or school subjects like art and Indonesian. I discovered my passion for fashion in my teenage years, which led me to study fashion design and sparked my desire to become a stylist and runway producer.

In my early twenties, I made the move to Sydney to pursue that dream more seriously. I immersed myself in the industry by assisting stylists and runway producers at shoots and major fashion weeks, both in Sydney and internationally, including Berlin. These early experiences helped me build my skills and confidence, and eventually led to opportunities in personal styling, hosting style sessions, and working with influencers and reality TV stars.

One of the turning points in my career came in 2015 when I visited LA for the first time to work on LA Fashion Week. It quickly became clear that LA was where I wanted to be. Since then, I’ve had the chance to style names like Mary Bonnet from Netflix’s Selling Sunset, NBA star Trae Young for Adidas Basketball, and work on multiple Adidas Golf campaigns. More recently, I’ve become a recurring guest host on Stall Talk, a podcast produced by the founder of E! Entertainment.

Looking back, every step — from those early creative hobbies to the runway shows and celebrity campaigns — has been about showing up, saying yes to opportunities, and building the right network. It’s been a journey of persistence, passion, and trusting the process.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been an easy road. Moving here and trying to build something meaningful came with its own set of challenges—especially navigating how to do business in a new country. Figuring out the systems, understanding the culture, and finding the right people who align with my vision hasn’t always been straightforward. But through it all, I’ve developed a resilience I didn’t know I had. Living here has tested me, but it’s also taught me how to trust myself and surrender to the unknown. Once you start to find your rhythm and connect with the right people, you realize this place is full of opportunities and hidden gems—it just takes time to uncover them.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a fashion stylist who works with a diverse range of clients—from everyday individuals to high-level entrepreneurs, celebrities, and athletes. What sets me apart is my signature styling process, Style & Soul, which goes beyond just clothes. It’s a deeply intuitive approach that helps bring out each client’s authentic core essence through personal style.

In addition to one-on-one styling, I’m also the fashion and style expert for Stall Talk—a new all-women, multigenerational podcast produced by the founder of E! Entertainment. It’s an exciting platform that allows me to share style insights with a broader audience.

What I’m most proud of is the transformation my clients experience—not just in how they look, but in how they feel. Seeing their confidence rise is the most rewarding part of what I do. I’m also proud of the major projects I’ve been part of—some of which were once just dreams on my vision board.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Yes, definitely—get a mentor. Find someone who’s a few steps ahead of you and can offer guidance, perspective, and support. It can make a huge difference in how you navigate the journey.

Also, be okay with making mistakes. Trying to be perfect or get everything “right” can actually keep you stuck. Growth comes from taking action, learning through the missteps, and being willing to evolve as you g
