Life & Work with Diamonte Jones of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamonte Jones.

Diamonte, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Originally i was apart of the “Jerkin” era. Began as a background dancer that opened doors to me being in music videos, movies, etc. Between that time i’ve hosted events/parties that led me to meet so many people in LA where i’ve built bridges that would introduce me to opportunities which would help my career grow and evole.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has not been smooth. Independence has it’s good and bad days there were times along my journey where i’ve had no money, no car, or reliable people in my corner to help me create and bring my visions to life.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
One of my key specialties is content creation. I’ve been known for dancing for so long it’s brought me a following over the years but i wanted to expand and try new things. Around 2016 i started making comedy skits to showcase more acting and personality and it welcomed a new audience. Location management became a new title as well, being able to use my house as a stable in Los Angeles for commercials, music videos, movies, tv shows, etc i wanted to make impact in my neighborhood to let people know that Hollywood isn’t the only place where success is showcased its talent around us if we just take the effort to show it. I’m proud to be a example of taking whats around you and turning it into whatever you want if you put your mind to it. I feel what sets me apart from others is i’m always going to find a way to reinvent myself i’m constantly seeing whats drawing people so i find ways to keep up in order to stay relevant.

What matters most to you?
What matters to me the most is helping. Growing up as a only child i was blessed to receive alot in my life but didn’t have anybody around me to share it with. Whenever i can i’m a giver of opportunity because not alot of doors were open for me so if i have the chance i’ll do it for people thats trying or don’t know where to start.
