Today we’d like to introduce you to Csilla Szeman

Csilla, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a native of Pasadena, CA. My mother was a hairstylist as were her sisters. I practically grew up in a beauty salon and cosmetology was practically second nature. With nineteen years of experience I have built up a loyal following of wonderful clients.
My mission is to enhance the individual beauty of clients and provide a comfortable relaxing experience.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are always some bumps in the road of life. The recent biggest hurdle was bouncing back after the pandemic. Like all others in the beauty industry I found myself at a standstill. I missed my craft , my clients , and financially it was a bit scary.
As of mid last year things are starting to get better , picking back up to a pre pandemic pace. I’m very grateful to my clients for their loyalty.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
– [ ] My speciality is brow shaping and tinting. My emphasis is enhancing every clients natural beauty. I work with every individuals needs and personal style. After listening to their wants I work with them to achieve their preferred look. Enhancing their natural beauty and helping them achieve a style that they love and easy for them to maintain.

I am also known for lash lifts and tints. Lash lifts have been around for a while but I’ve found over the past year my clients have been looking for a more natural alternative to lash extensions. The beauty of the lash lift is a more natural but still impactful look on their lashes. The maintenance is much more flexible than that of lash extensions. No need for monthly visits , and they can still enjoy a polished look to their lashes without the uncomfortable side effects of lash extensions.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
For work there is an artist by the name of LASH MOTHER ULI. She has great tips and advice for lash services.

For life there is an artist/author
Dani DiPirro who has inspirational quotes and mindful insights on how to be positive and live in the present.
