Hi CLUB 909, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We’re Afinity and D-SAB, the duo behind CLUB 909. We’ve been friends for years, both coming up in the LA music scene with our own solo projects. We were always bouncing ideas off each other, playing shows together, and just vibing over our love for house music. Eventually, it just made sense to combine forces and create something bigger—something that fully represents the underground sound we’re passionate about.
That’s how CLUB 909 was born. Our vision was to build a project that not only delivers high quality music but also has a strong, recognizable brand behind it. We wanted to create more than just music—we wanted to create an experience.
It’s been an exciting journey so far, and we’re just getting started!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been smooth in the sense that we love what we do, but let’s be real—it’s never easy breaking through in today’s music scene. The industry, especially in house music, is more saturated than ever, and getting your name out there takes more than just making great tracks.
That’s why we’ve approached CLUB 909 differently. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned—the wins, the failures, the late nights grinding in the studio—and used that knowledge to carve out our own lane. It’s not just about the music; it’s about building a movement that people want to be a part of.
It’s a challenge, but that’s part of growing a music project.

At our core, we’re producers, DJs, and storytellers. CLUB 909 is all about creating high-energy, immersive house music that stands the test of time.
