Hi Chantal, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, I am Dr. Chantal Khalili and I am a Biomimetic General and Cosmetic Dentist. I provide a conservative and holistic approach to dentistry. My practice is located in the 9201 Sunset Medical Tower (adjacent to Beverly Hills and West Hollywood). I am a native Angelino with a B.A. from UCLA and a D.D.S. degree from the USC School of Dentistry.
I’ve always been captivated by the beauty of small, intricate details. From a young age, I found joy in miniature artistic projects, and growing up around my mom’s beauty supply store, I was constantly exposed to her thoughtful advice on caring for hair and skin. This early experience sparked my passion for health and wellness, laying the foundation for my journey into dentistry. As a student, I developed a strong moral compass, always striving to do things “the right way,” even if it made the journey harder. These values naturally guided me toward dentistry, where I could merge my love for detailed artistry, wellness, and ethics. What I truly appreciate about dentistry is the ethical and moral obligation to do right by my patients. For me, that means providing conservative, biomimetic care focused on bonded restorations whenever possible—treatments that respect and preserve the natural tooth structure.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have definitely been challenges along the way, especially in finding a dental office in LA that aligned with my approach to care. This ultimately led me to open my own practice in June of 2020. Unfortunately, many dental offices in LA provide care dictated more by insurance companies than by what is truly best for the patient’s teeth and what science has proven to be beneficial in the long run. Opening my own practice allowed me to prioritize patient care while still providing patients insurance billing so that they can still take advantage of their insurance benefits.

My passion for cosmetic dentistry goes beyond mere artistry; I possess both the eye for detail and the patience it demands. I take pride in identifying conservative treatments that, although small, can create significant improvements in someone’s smile. I specialize in handcrafting chairside composite bondings for subtle enhancements, while also providing comprehensive care with the highest quality porcelain veneers, which I bond rather than traditionally cement, to ensure stronger, more resilient teeth through a biomimetic approach.
What does success mean to you?
To me, success means continually growing, improving, and savoring every moment while appreciating life in all its forms. It’s about embracing the journey, seeking knowledge, and finding joy in the little things that enrich our experiences.
