Today, we’d like to introduce you to AUS10.

Hi AUS10, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started rapping when I was 14 years old. I always knew I had talent and the ability to be great when I first started. I’d be head in the notepad writing rhymes at home and at school while sharpening my skills. I was known around my school for rapping.

When they’d have special guests like radio stations come out during lunchtime, I’d always get called to come get in front of the crowds, and I’d meet people in the process. Rapping is a brain sport, and I have always loved working with words and being a wordsmith, especially when it came to BARS!

From then until now, in August 2024, I’ve traveled to multiple cities to perform live, invested real time and energy in building my confidence and ability to write songs, and am ready to take it to the next level creatively, work with big artists, and create something fresh.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been somewhat smooth only because it’s been my job to remain mentally and spiritually balanced through any changes in life. I try my best to not only be balanced in my creative space and take any necessary time off that’s needed for reiteration but in any area of life because when I get back to the music, I want it to feel amazing when I hear it.

I want it to speak to you, whether it’s a feeling of hurt or stress, talking about a relationship, positivity, growth, life, etc. Let me conclude by saying even after all this, I definitely want to let y’all know that it hasn’t been ALL smooth.

For the most part, it has been for me only because I won’t be all in the mix; I’m like a fly on the wall in certain environments; I’m mainly introverted, and it’s important to act on what you learn and utilize it when it comes your way. When the turbulence comes, and you feel any kind of slowness in your process, analyze it and see what you can do differently. Pivot and come back better!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a rapper, hip-hop recording artist, lyricist, emcee, songwriter, or whatever you want to call it. I AM art, but I am not limited to any adjectives mentioned earlier in this text.

What sets me apart is my originality, the feeling you get when you hear my music, whether it the pain and hurt of a bad relationship ending or the joy and bliss of seeing the fruits of your labor manifest into fruition and the way I lay it down on these beats, no one does it like me!

The way I come off on beats is just HARD!
