Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexius Bryant.
Hi Alexius, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Alexius Bryant but everyone calls me Lex I’m 26 years old. I was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. As I kid I always loved coming here to Los Angeles to visit. In May 2009 my mom moved us to California I’ve been living here for about 12 years now.
I started my clothing line in honor of my brother Amon Brown Jr who was killed on October 8, 2018. After he passed, we coined the phrase Amon Forever! We then made it onto a logo to place on clothing and T-shirts. This year we finally made it an LLC and have been pushing the brand. We want to make sure we keep his name alive!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has honestly been tough. I’m still learning how to manage everything like sells, products, etc. I sometimes get discouraged when I feel like I’m not getting the support I need but I still manage to keep pushing.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I want to start an after-school program. I’m currently working on getting a degree in child development. I love working with children. I currently volunteer at a Child care center. I’m proud of my strength I have to keep going & stay positive no matter how hard things get. I feel like I’m different cause I never wanted to fit in with others, I wanna stand out !!!
