Inspiring Conversations with Valerie Feghali of Valerie Diane Nutrition and Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valerie Feghali.

Hi Valerie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My transition into Nutrition and Health Coaching began shortly after my mother passed away. At the time, I was practicing as a physical therapist and I had a vested interest in health as a whole. However, to my horror, little to no holistic treatment, nutrition coaching, or mental health support was offered to my mother as she was supposed to be healing from her health condition.

I was frustrated, sad, and disappointed in the healthcare system and knew that there was a better way to help people who needed to change their health situation. So, I began down the rabbit hole of nutrition, mind work, and healthy living. I have now coached countless clients on how to make shifts in their lifestyles for improved overall well-being and the trajectory of their life. I work with clients on cleaning up their diet, incorporating meaning movement into each day, how to rebalance their hormones and more. The transformations I see inspire me to do more.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been many times during my career that I have thought to myself, maybe I should just throw in the towel. It’s been difficult to lead people to understand the value in taking care of their health. Habit change is hard. Many wish to follow the path of least resistance, which unfortunately in the end is the more challenging path. I have had losses and upsets along the way, both financially and emotionally, but I continually remind myself that no one has achieved success without determination and learning from their failures. Thanks to this mindset, I am grateful for how far I have come and how many lives I have changed along the way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Valerie Diane Nutrition and Wellness?
As my company and passion has grown, I have begun working with other health coaches and doctors to guide them on how to improve their coaching skills and help them with content creation. I create guides and protocols for physicians, nurse practicers, and coaches to help their clients with the tools necessary to reach their goals. My mission is to reach a wide audience and spread the word about the impact that nutrition and mindset has on each person’s happiness. I wish to simplify this topic for many and hope to see the tide shift towards healthy living as a priority.

I also love working with women who are going need help with hormonal shifts such as women who are struggling with fertility, who are postpartum, or who are going through peri-menopause. I work with these women to optimize their nutrition along with various lifestyle strategies to rebalance their hormones.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Fail faster! You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to start. Once you learn to fail, you will learn how to improve your message, your image, and your way of doing business.
