Inspiring Conversations with Nicole Folino And Danielle Galligan of Artists With Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Folino And Danielle Galligan

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After an almost twenty year run working together for another agency, we saw an opportunity in opening AWA that would further our careers as Reps and entrepreneurs. We opened our doors in October of 2023 and hit the ground running working with clients in LA, NY & Boston.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Timing-wise, the fall of 2023 wasn’t exactly the best window personally for us to pursue the venture of launching Artists With Agency, but that’s one of the things that highlights how great we are as partners. When bumps in the road presented themselves in both our lives between that fall and the winter of 2024, we enabled each other to not feel overwhelmed by the ramp up of a new business. There’s a trust that comes from working together as long as we had that’s empowering. We assembled a great team and were able to delegate efficiently in the face of our first Q1 as business owners, and things ultimately ran and have run smoothly since day one.

As you know, we’re big fans of Artists With Agency. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
AWA represents a talented roster of Wardrobe, Prop, and Food Stylists, Set Designers, Art Directors, Hair & Makeup Artists, Child Wranglers, and Assistants. Each of these artists is an individual business owner whose work and work ethic also happens to fit within the overarching brand and ethos of our agency.

We specialize in enhancing lifestyle and commercial photography and video projects that end up featured across a wide variety of mediums, working with clients to bring just the right talent to their crews.

We find that no two bookings are the same and no two clients operate the same way. To cater to this, we remain open to meeting each new project’s demands with a growth mindset.

We are most proud of the agency we foster in the individuals we represent. We believe they can and should be in the driver seat of healthy, meaningful careers that bridge their immense creativity with commerce.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Real days off, sunshine, black coffee, our pups, our family and our friends.
