Today we’d like to introduce you to Masa Taguchi
Hi Masa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
“I came to America in 1998 and worked for a travel agency, living in San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Boston, and Orange County. My goal was to hold the OC JAPAN FAIR, so in 2015, I established an event company within my group company, and I have been working towards that ever since.”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
“I faced various challenges, but thanks to the support of my colleagues, I can’t point to any one specific difficulty.”
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Japan Product Promotion?
“My goal is to promote Japanese food, culture, and music in America. While I want to highlight trends like anime, I also aim to create events that allow people to experience traditional Japanese culture
How do you think about happiness?
I would be happy if many people can share time and space at the events I am involved in and enjoy themselves.
