Hi Lily, Jen, and Vanessa, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
We are a team of three creative moms, Jen, Vanessa, and Lily, who attended the same church for many years in Pasadena. After working a few celebratory events together in 2018 for our community, we were approached by a couple to design and style their wedding in March of 2019. From these first experiences, we were inspired to expand our skills and enrolled ourselves in a reputable Flower Design School in Orange County. While training, we were asked by more couples to design and style their events. With every event, we gained more confidence and experience while elevating our excellence in the customer service, production operations, and day-of executions that we provide to our clients.
As businesses began to open up during the pandemic, we deliberated on whether we should continue to keep our businesses open. However, Adorn Me Design continued to be pursued by couples to design microweddings, weddings, receptions, and other intimate events. We have now been in the industry for 5 years. We are thankful for all the opportunities we have had and are grateful for each and every client we have worked with since the beginning of this journey. We look forward to the new opportunities this new year will bring.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Overall, our experience with our clients have been wonderful. The primary struggle we face is being small business owners and balancing time with our families. With the support of our husbands and family members, we have been able to pursue our passion as creatives in this industry. Being in the wedding industry requires time away from our families during the weekends. We have learned to take on projects that give us creative freedom and peace of mind. We’ve learned that not all inquiries will result in a business transaction and that is okay. We have been more discerning on which projects we should take on without compromising quality time with our family.

Adorn Me Design is a boutique floral and event styling company based in Los Angeles. We specialize in curating unique guest experiences by creating beautiful and customized designs for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. We truly enjoy working with clients to express their vision and personal stories through the beauty of flowers, hand-lettered calligraphy, tablescapes, and spatial design.
Our dedicated team works closely with clients to define their unique vision and create detailed design plans and moodboards that provide a clear visual direction in bringing all elements of an event together. We work to implement our client’s inspiration to bring a full and memorable guest experience that elevates each celebration.

For the future, in addition to event design, we plan to find unique spaces for us to bring our creative joy to others through hosting community-building workshops that will allow others to share in the craft of floral, botanical, and artistic design. We also hope to move towards building services that will include interior design and staging for commercial and residential clients one day. Our dreams continue to engage our passions in beautifying spaces and expressing the hearts and lives of those we serve through our design and styling.
