Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my fitness journey in 2013. I documented the process of losing 65 pounds without restrictive dieting on my Instagram account. I became a certified trainer (NASM) and began to teach a realistic approach to fat loss that I knew worked. I started a free community bootcamp that met every Saturday for 5 years with over 50+ regular attendees and went on to open a boutique training studio. Simultaneously, I began leading online fitness challenges. After a few major magazine publications, my following exploded, and I made the pivot to coaching solely online. I launched my app and went fully online right before the pandemic hit. When covid lockdown were in full force, my business boomed. I now train thousands of women around the globe with my effective home workouts hosted within my app.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I started my IG account, we were on government assistance. My husband was laid off, and we struggled to make ends meet. As my following grew, I received an opportunity from a fat burner company to sell the rights to my before and after photos for $10,000. Despite being flat broke, I turned down the campaign because I refused to deceive my audience for $$$. Looking back, it was a “canon event,” so to speak.

Keep Going Kat is known for providing quick and effective home workouts paired with accountability. My unique approach helps women heal their relationship with food and fitness. I help my clients break away from the yo-yo dieting cycle. I have helped thousands of women lose 20+ pounds, and hundreds lose 100+ pounds. My program is unique because it provides a sustainable approach to fat loss. My clients never have to restrict foods they love while seeing insane results. Kgk provides fun and easy-to-follow, full-length, full-body workouts. I combine pilates, strength training, and HIIT to create an effective workout in 30 minutes or less.
Any big plans?
I just hosted my first retreat in Palm Springs, CA. I plan to continue hosting retreats a few times per year where women can be immersed in sustainable fitness, health, and community.
In addition to my fitness coaching, I have started coaching other trainers and professionals in taking their wisdom and turning it into wealth.
The online education field is booming. People want to learn straight from the source. My consulting has helped professionals from a wide spectrum of fields create online courses of their own. My plan is to continue to expand my mentorship program.
