Inspiring Conversations with Haze Amor of So(U)l smoothies

Today we’d like to introduce you to Haze Amor

Haze, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got my start by my friends and community encouraging me to start. I used to always make smoothies for myself and share them with my colleagues. It got to a point where they were telling me I should sell them. Then one day I got the opportunity to sell my smoothies with a fellow entrepreneur and I didn’t say no. I literally had no excuse. I got where I am today by having my community encouraging and challenging me to push to the next level.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No it has not been a smooth road. A few struggles we had was finding a reliable source for produce that was fresh and affordable. Luckily we were able to source mostly at the farmers market and local stores. Another struggle was maintaining time management for a blossoming business. When we would sell out one week, naturally we wanted to increase production to accommodate the demand for new customers and regulars. This is something we still struggle with but are confident that we’ll find the balance.

As you know, we’re big fans of So(U)l smoothies. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Here at So(U)l smoothies our big 3 is Vegan – Organic – Sustainable. We specialize in making healthy taste good. We are known for making for making original tasty juices and smoothies. Depending on who you ask they will tell you that I’m known for sweet potato cornbread. The peoples favorite smoothie is the M.P.G(Mango. Pineapple. Ginger) Although my personal favorite smoothie is the P.C.B(Peanut-butter. Chocolate. Banana). Don’t make me choose a favorite because I really do love them all. It’s exciting getting in the kitchen and creating new juice combinations. I haven’t disappointed my taste buds yet! What sets me apart from others is having a bartending background that encourages me to push the envelope on flavor combinations. What’s makes us most proud is that we maintained consistency in delivering a good product. What I want my readers to know about the brand is that we’re taking a brief hiatus to revamp and relaunch. With that will come with online & mobile ordering to better serve our squad!

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
