Hi GIOVANNA, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Eighteen years ago, when I moved to the U.S., I struggled to find high-quality swimwear that matched the fit, style, and craftsmanship of the Brazilian bikinis I had always loved. The materials, the cuts, and the way Brazilian swimwear embraced confidence and femininity were unmatched. From the moment I arrived, bringing authentic Brazilian swimwear to the U.S. was always on my mind.

That’s where the idea for Beeluxxe was born. I wanted to create more than just a swimwear brand—I envisioned a luxury bikini line that celebrates self-love, exclusivity, and timeless elegance, all while embracing the artistry of handcrafted pieces. Our bikinis are made in Brazil by skilled seamstresses who carefully craft each piece, ensuring not only quality but also a connection to the rich heritage of Brazilian swimwear fashion.

Starting Beeluxxe was not easy, but passion and perseverance kept me going. From sourcing the finest materials to curating designs that empower women of all shapes and sizes, every step has been a journey of growth and learning. Our mission has always been clear: to help women feel confident, radiant, and effortlessly glamorous—whether they’re lounging by the beach, on a dream vacation, or simply embracing their beauty in everyday life.

Today, Beeluxxe is more than just a brand; it’s a movement of exclusivity, confidence, and timeless style. We’ve grown through our community of incredible women who inspire us daily, and we’re just getting started. The dream is to continue expanding, collaborating, and redefining what it means to wear luxury swimwear.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has definitely not been a smooth road. Being a solo entrepreneur comes with many challenges—you’re wearing multiple hats, making all the decisions, and constantly pushing forward even when things get tough. One of the biggest struggles has been the financial side of building a brand. Starting a business, especially in the fashion industry, requires significant investment—from production and materials to marketing and growing a customer base. Without outside funding, every decision has to be strategic, and every risk feels even bigger.

Another challenge has been expanding beyond swimwear into activewear. Beeluxxe isn’t just about bikinis; it’s about a lifestyle of confidence, elegance, and exclusivity. Women want to feel just as powerful and stylish in their everyday activewear as they do in their bikinis. But launching a new category comes with sourcing challenges, design adjustments, and market positioning. Finding the right manufacturers who align with our quality and values, while keeping production costs manageable, has been a learning process.

Despite these challenges, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. Every obstacle has pushed me to grow, adapt, and fight harder for my vision. Seeing women feel empowered in Beeluxxe—whether in a bikini or activewear—makes it all worth it. The road isn’t easy, but I believe in what we’re building, and that keeps me going every day.

We’ve been impressed with Beeluxxe, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Beeluxxe is more than just a swimwear brand—it’s a luxury lifestyle movement that celebrates self-love, confidence, and exclusivity. What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is growing up in Brazil, where life felt so free and full of adventure. Back then, the streets were dirt roads, and every day was an opportunity for excitement. We would spend hours playing outside with friends—riding bikes, exploring the little jungle-like areas in the neighborhood, and even jumping fences to get close to cows in the nearby fields.

We played with dirt, ran barefoot, and turned the streets into our playground, playing sports and chasing each other until the sun went down. The best part was when it got dark, and my mom would call us home, yelling from the window—our signal that it was time to wrap up another unforgettable day.

It was an amazing childhood, full of simple joys, pure freedom, and endless adventure. Those memories shaped who I am today, and I carry that sense of adventure and joy into everything I do.
