Hi Daniel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started with my fiancée and me, just two candy lovers with a dream (and a serious sweet tooth). We’ve always been obsessed with trying snacks from around the world, but after ordering from countless candy websites we felt like something was always missing.
The candy wasn’t fresh. The delivery took forever. And most importantly, it never came close to the candy experience we loved back home in Sweden.
In Sweden, we grew up with something truly special: Pick n Mix candy.
Imagine walking into your local grocery store and heading straight to the candy aisle, not to grab a pre-packed bag, but to stand in front of a giant wall of colorful candies. Rows upon rows of sweet, sour, chewy, and chocolatey treats and you get to choose every single piece. You grab a scoop, fill your bag with your favorites, mix and match exactly how you like it.
That’s what candy means to us – freedom, fun, and full-on flavor.
We couldn’t believe that no one was offering that kind of experience in the U.S. So we set out to recreate it and make it available to everyone, no matter where they live – by building our own Swedish candy store online.
From the beginning, we knew it had to be real. That’s why every single order is packed fresh at our warehouse in Sweden and shipped directly to customers in the U.S. and around the world so they can enjoy 100% authentic Swedish candy, just like we do back home.
One of the things we love most about Swedish candy is that it’s often made with natural coloring and cleaner ingredients – it’s candy that feels fun, but also crafted with care.
While Pick n Mix candy was our starting point, we also wanted to share more of what we grew up with – the things that made Swedish snacks so special to us.

We spent months working around the clock – days, nights, weekends, designing every detail. I built the website from scratch. My fiancée created our colorful, funky candy pouch designs, fun and bold, just like candy should be. We reached out to trusted suppliers in Sweden, negotiated weekly deliveries of the freshest products, and partnered with shipping providers to make international delivery fast and reliable.
Every box is packed by us – carefully, and with the same excitement we’d feel if we were sending it to a friend.
We didn’t have investors or a big team – just a shared vision, a lot of heart, and the drive to make people smile.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not exactly, but that’s part of what makes this journey so rewarding.
Starting a business from scratch, just the two of us, meant learning everything by doing. We had to figure out how to ship fresh Swedish candy across the world, manage suppliers, handle packaging, customer service, branding – all while packing every single order ourselves.
There were challenges, of course. But instead of seeing problems, we saw opportunities to improve. We tested, adjusted, stayed up late, and kept going – because we truly believed in what we were building.
And that belief has only grown stronger.
Every message from a happy customer, every returning order – it’s a reminder that all the hard work is worth it.
We’re still learning, still growing and still loving every part of the ride.
