Inspiring Conversations with Ciara Johnson of Now All Eyes On You

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciara Johnson.

Hi Ciara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Back in 2018, I previously did eyelash extensions and I’m always interested in the next big thing. In any event, I knew that whatever I put my mind to, I’d succeed at it so the idea of revamping my business to sell hair extensions came to mind. Around my birthday in September of 2021, I began mapping everything out as far as what origin of hair I wanted to offer, packaging, if my platform would strictly be via online or offer delivery services. At that point, the passion grew, I chose raw hair and spent hundreds to thousands of dollars on samples from numerous of vendors. I conducted about six months worth of research, sampling, trial and error (over and over again) before I reached the point of my official launch date, April 2022.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road, literally anything but that. Running a business that contains multiple roles needing to be played, social media accounts to attend to, etc is by far one of the most challenging yet rewarding things I’ve ever done. With the support and encouragement from everyone in my life, I was able to push through the days that seemed more challenging than others. No, I didn’t always reach my weekly sales goals, communication with vendors fell below my expectations but I stayed optimistic. All in all, I formed the perspective to stay 10 toes down, work hard and that complications will arise but it’s the mindset of knowing, that’s what comes with the road to success and with consistency Now All Eyes on You will become a franchise.

We’ve been impressed with Now All Eyes on You, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Now All Eyes on you is a black-owned hair extensions business. I offer the highest quality of raw double-drawn, double-wefted hair. I love to see my queens looking and feeling their best, I want all eyes on them when they step out just as it is for me. So, in order to achieve that lifestyle it starts with the quality and longevity of the hair which compliments everything else. That alone sets me apart from others. I simply love what I’m creating!

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
For sure a franchise in the next 5-10 years. I have a lot of major plans for my business and once everything kicks off, it’s only up from there.
