Today we’d like to introduce you to Chase Croft.
Hi Chase, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From a young age, I was always working—taking on different jobs in plumbing, construction, and retail. After some time, I realized that wasn’t the path I wanted to continue down. That led me to the fitness world.
When I started, I lost 40 pounds in just three months through diet and exercise. That transformation wasn’t just physical—it sparked something deeper. I realized how powerful it is to take control of your health, and I knew I wanted to help others do the same.
I spent over 10 years in the fitness industry, learning, growing, and working with people from all walks of life. A little over two years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened Take It Back Health and Wellness. The name says it all—it’s about helping people reclaim their lives, whether that’s through weight loss, strength, energy, or overall wellness.
Health has always been a central part of my life, and now I’m blessed to share that purpose alongside my wife. We’ve since expanded into holistic care, opening a wellness studio focused on respiratory health through salt therapy.
This journey has been about more than just fitness—it’s about transformation, faith, and walking with people as they take back their confidence, health, and life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not—but I’ve learned that nothing worth having ever comes easy. That’s something I try to instill in my two daughters as well. There was no blueprint or manual for entrepreneurship. It’s been a journey of faith, perseverance, and learning as I go.
There have been challenges—financial, emotional, and everything in between—but I’ve trusted God every step of the way. I’ve leaned on Him for guidance and strength, especially in the tough moments when things felt uncertain.
I’m also incredibly thankful for my wife—my partner of over 22 years. She’s been by my side through it all. We’re raising and homeschooling our children together while also building businesses from the ground up. Her support, patience, and belief in the vision have meant everything.
The road may not be smooth, but it’s been meaningful—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Take It Back Health and Wellness is a private training facility rooted in one core mission: helping people take their lives back—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I specialize in fully individualized one-on-one personal training and wellness coaching. There’s no one-size-fits-all here. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter programs because no two people have the same story, goals, or challenges.
What truly sets Take It Back apart is the personalized, integrated approach. I take the time to understand not just your body, but your mindset, habits, and history. Whether your goal is weight loss, building strength, improving mobility, or simply feeling more like yourself again, we work together to create a foundation that lasts. This isn’t about short-term fixes—it’s about sustainable transformation.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the genuine trust clients place in me and in the process. Take It Back is grounded in intention, care, and the belief that real change is possible for anyone. It’s more than just a gym—it’s a space where people reconnect with parts of themselves they thought they’d lost: confidence, energy, health, and a renewed belief in what’s possible.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about our city is that, even though we’re in a larger area, it still feels like a small town. There’s a real sense of community here. Local businesses support each other, people know your name, and there’s a genuine effort to lift each other up. The downtown area is always hosting fun, family-friendly events that bring people together, and that kind of connection is rare to find.
As for what I like least—it’s hard to say. Like any growing area, traffic can be a challenge sometimes, but honestly, the good far outweighs the bad. I’m grateful to be part of a place that still values people, family, and community.
