Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Constantino & Julita Monasterska.
Hi Brandy & Julita, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The Art of Lens was created with the love of telling stories through the lens. We came from two different countries, Poland and the United States, and knew that the different knowledge we had would build the business to the success that it is today.
The Art of Lens sees creativity in finding unique perspectives in all settings, which developed The Art of People, The Art of Places and The Art of Things. One of us has a passion in places, the other a passion in things/macro and together, we have found the beauty in The Art of People.
We have been college educated in marketing, psychology and design. We have worked in corporate environments and with our dedicated and entrepreneurial personalities, we decided that owning a photography business would succeed with what we have already experienced in the business.
We have been internationally-published with Marika Magazine in October 2022. Have placed in photography fairs and recognized by Los Angeles interior designers
We both have been certified with the Professional Photographers of America and continue to gain excellence through the PPA’s continuing education program.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been smooth but filled with unexpected forks, turns, detours and lookout points. The world is filled with so many opportunities to capture the moment that we often have to make difficult choices of where to be and who and/what to photograph. One day we’re at an event, the next day on a movie set and the next day, we receive a call for an urgent headshot in need. It’s busy and fun!
We’ve been impressed with The Art of Lens, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We specialize in portrait and headshot photography, in the studio or out to create exceptional art. We strongly understand how the use of color, light, textures, space, and patterns can determine the power in imagery, and we know that is what sets us apart.
We believe that the strength of our brand comes from our differences in where we came from and what we provide to the company.
We thrive to maintain relationships with the clients, from the consultation, the development and what’s delivered. We want to build off the idea of why they came to us to start and together build more than they were expecting.
We enjoy creating imagery to fill the client’s environments, whether in the home or office and for capturing life’s milestones that they want to showcase and never forget.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
