Inspiring Conversations with Brandin Bull of Bull Chiropractic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandin Bull.

Hi Brandin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Brandin Bull, DC. I obtained my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences (Los Angeles College of Chiropractic). Prior to attending grad school, I was a Certified Personal Trainer at a boutique gym in the local mountains. As a personal trainer, I helped all sorts of clients, from cancer survivors getting back to their ideal body weight to high school students getting into shape for the military.

As an Eagle Scout with a love for sports and the outdoors, I have been an advocate for a healthy lifestyle since a very early age. I have spent years learning firsthand about the benefits of health and exercise. However, becoming a personal trainer really sparked his passion for helping others to reach their full potential. I have had and witnessed incredible experiences with chiropractic care, so after years of personal training, I decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor in order to build upon my aspiration to help others feel their best.

Huntington Beach has been my home for over a decade. I can not think of a better place to open a practice. I currently reside here with my wife and two dogs and am looking forward to serving my community.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to opening my own Chiropractic office has had a few bumps along the way. The biggest hurdle was securing funding. I started out as a sole proprietor with no business credit and no savings. During the time I was applying for an SBA loan, Southern California was recovering from several fires. From what I’ve gathered, a lot of the money which would typically be available for SBA loans was allocated to the fire victims. Talk about bad timing! Lack of experience was also a contributing factor.

My wife and I finally figured out a way to secure funding but it was about a third of the amount we were originally hoping for. We had enough to secure an office space, do some minimal construction, and purchase basic equipment to get things rolling. On the bright side, we were able to open and have plenty of room for growth. We have big plans and are looking forward to continuing on this journey with our community.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am Dr. Brandin Bull. I am the owner of Bull Chiropractic located in Huntington Beach, CA. We offer chiropractic services which include: chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, physiotherapy, non-surgical spinal decompression and nutrition counseling.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I stumbled upon The Chiro Success Podcast when I was still in school which motivated me to join a chiropractic consulting group called Winners Edge. I am extremely grateful for this group and wouldn’t have been able to open my practice without their guidance and expertise.

I love all books health/wellness or chiropractic related.
