9669films started business since January of 2014. Lina Linh Nga, also known as Linh Nga founded her second film company after she graduated from Chapman University with MFA degree. Lina Linh Nga is a successful artist in 1990 in Vietnam. Vietnamese people known her for many roles she acted in movies and television series, as well as a face model for so many well-known articles. In 2002, Lina Linh Nga won the 2002 award for TV best series for the film Xuoi Nguoc Duong Tran (in English: In The Shadow Of Life) in Vietnamese International Film Festival VIFF. Carol Young

Undesigned grew out of my Master’s Thesis project at Cornell University. Trying to find a sustainable design method, I was using post-consumer recycled clothing + technical fabrics to make clothing for the Urban Nomad, a theoretical client who uses human-powered (walking/cycling, etc) and mass-transit to get around. Ironically, I ended up back in LA, where I grew up and where the car-centric culture is the opposite of an urban nomadic lifestyle. In 2003, I launched Undesigned, which was a micro-line focused on pleated “travel wear” and sold mainly at samples sales and boutiques worldwide. In 2005, I opened my “starter store” in Echo Park (where Hecho En Echo is now), since my dream was to have a little shop with a studio in the back. Read more>>

As a child, I often looked at everyone’s hair when they walked into a room. I remember imagining different hairstyles on people. My parents often purchased dolls for me as a child. While playing with my dolls I would fix the dolls hair in various styles. I was a mini fashionista and beautician. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s there were not many dolls that reflected my skin tone or kinky hair nonetheless; that did not stop me from styling the hair of my dolls. Without knowing I began desiring long ponytails and straighter hair. My natural hair was short, coarse and kinky; I could not pull my hair into ponytails as I wanted. I began requesting dolls with longer hair that I could do more versatile styles with. Read more>>

Marmont Treehouse was founded when my business partner and I decided to move to the West Coast after one too many harsh winters in NYC. I come from a finance background, and he was a luxury fashion executive. We always had an affinity for entertaining at home and loved creating environments conducive to relaxed and comfortable settings. We were instantly enamored by Southern California weather and its relaxed atmosphere. We found a home in the Hollywood Hills, completely surrounded by trees, something that we yearned for in our past urban life, and that’s where the inspiration to name the company Marmont Treehouse came to be.
