Yarin and Pauline, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We shared a dream built on family values, hard work, and a love for bringing spaces to life. Yarin grew up surrounded by construction, watching his grandfather and father work with precision and pride, which instilled in him a deep respect for craftsmanship and dedication. Pauline was inspired by her father, who owned a large furniture manufacturing company, and spent her early years fascinated by design, materials, real estate and how each piece could transform a space.

Together, we saw an opportunity to create something different. A company rooted in honesty, communication, and care. We wanted to take the stress out of the remodeling process and make it a collaborative, enjoyable experience for our clients. That’s how Create Construction was born. What started as a small, family-run business has evolved into a boutique firm serving Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most entrepreneurs, our journey hasn’t been without challenges. Building a business in construction means learning to adapt daily. No two projects are ever the same. Early on, one of our biggest struggles was finding the right team that shared our commitment to quality and integrity. We’ve always believed that great work starts with great people, so it took time to build a crew that truly reflects our standards and values.

Another challenge was balancing growth while maintaining the personal, hands-on approach we promise our clients. As the company expanded, we had to learn how to delegate without compromising on the level of care and communication that set us apart.

There have also been the inevitable industry challenges. Supply chain delays, fluctuating material costs, and unexpected on-site hurdles but we’ve learned to navigate them with transparency and problem-solving.

We specialize in full-scale remodels, custom homes, and design-build services. Handling everything from initial concept and design to the final details of construction.
