Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa Benlolo.
Hi Vanessa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
At eight years old, during a difficult time in my childhood, I had an experience that would shape my entire life: I was visited by two star beings who told me that our reality is an illusion. In that moment, a spark was lit—a curiosity that would evolve into a lifelong quest to understand who we are, why we exist, and what it truly means to live with purpose.
That curiosity carried me through many paths—studying biological engineering, diving into philosophy and quantum physics, exploring spirituality, developing my intuition, and training in mindfulness, life coaching, and energy work to heal intergenerational trauma. Each step expanded my understanding of human existence and our soul’s evolutionary journey, deepening my fascination with the mysteries of life.
About ten years ago, I took all of these experiences and founded my business. It began with guiding women in healing trauma, releasing limiting beliefs, and discovering their purpose, but quickly expanded to include men, couples, families, and youth—anyone seeking to heal, awaken, and step fully into the life they were meant to live. My core offering—Soul Guiding Sessions™, formerly called Soul Speak sessions—remains at the heart of this work. I have supported everyone from A-list celebrities, supermodels, hedge fund managers, tech entrepreneurs, healers, and stay at home moms.
Today, I am creating the Soul Guiding Institute™, an online platform that trains others to do this work: helping people heal from conditioning, discover and embody their purpose, develop emotional intelligence, deepen their intuition, and master their energy. Through self-study options and comprehensive trainings, the Institute will support people in becoming whole, sovereign beings—creating space for the soul’s evolutionary journey and for the collective consciousness to evolve. Programs include training as soul guides, integrative sacred union facilitators, spirit baby intuitives, and more. At its core, the Institute celebrates the beauty of being human and having a spiritual experience.
Every step of my journey has been about uncovering truth and guiding others to do the same—so they can live with clarity, freedom, and purpose, embracing the full potential of who they are meant to be.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has never been completely smooth—and I wouldn’t want it to be. The challenges along the way have been integral to my growth and the depth of the work I do today. Early on, the biggest struggles were internal—navigating my own conditioning, trauma, and self-limiting beliefs while trying to understand the bigger picture of life and purpose.
Starting a business that focuses on something as subtle and profound as soul guidance also came with external challenges. It wasn’t always easy to explain what I do or to be taken seriously in spaces dominated by conventional ideas of success. There were moments of doubt, uncertainty, and learning to trust both myself and the process.
Yet, all along the way, my intuition has been my compass. Every time I trusted it, the path became simpler, clearer, and more aligned. Soul is inherently simple, and while I have worked very hard, this has been the easiest venture for me to step into because it is my calling. The work itself called to me, and the energy guided me every step of the way.
Now, I see what some might call struggles as invitations—opportunities for breakthroughs. Every trigger is an invitation into wholeness. Every rupture in relationship is an invitation to deeper understanding, greater connection, and expanded levels of safety. Challenges are not obstacles; they are openings to expand, grow, and embody more of who we truly are.

Through these offerings, I guide clients to awaken their intuition, strengthen boundaries, transform relationships, prepare for conception, embrace their spiritual gifts, birth purposeful businesses, and master their sexuality—helping them step into their full potential with clarity, confidence, and joy.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’ve come to believe that the bigger risk is not taking one at all. Whenever fear arises, I ask myself: What is the cost of staying where I am? What is truly at stake? Almost always, remaining still feels far riskier than moving forward and learning through the unknown. If a risk doesn’t work out, I gain wisdom. And often that wisdom is more valuable than getting it “right” the first time.
I see life as a spiritual experience, and entrepreneurship as one of the most profound spiritual paths we can walk. Every evolution in my business has required an inner evolution first. The biggest risk I ever took was starting this work a decade ago—long before healing generational trauma, soul guidance, or intuition were mainstream conversations. I spent the first five years running workshops, speaking publicly, and educating people about a new way of understanding healing, purpose, and the soul.
Another defining moment came when I was invited to abandon my work to help build someone else’s business. It was presented as a“safer” path—but it wasn’t my path. Choosing to bet on myself, on my purpose, and on what I knew I was here to do was one of the most courageous decisions I’ve ever made, and it continues to reward me in ways I could never have predicted.
My perspective on risk is simple: when your soul is guiding you, the real danger lies in not listening. My purpose—to support humanity in evolving consciously, healing conditioning, and choosing to remain deeply human in a world that often pulls us away from our humanity—is crystal clear. That clarity creates trust, and with trust, I can move forward with ease.
And when I am aligned with my purpose, it becomes almost impossible to fail. I feel held, guided, and supported by something much larger than myself. When you work for the universe, the universe works for you.
