Tom, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Prestige Surgical Aftercare was founded in 2021. With nearly 14 years of experience in the plastic surgery industry, I recognized a significant gap in quality aftercare for patients in Beverly Hills. My goal was to create a healing space where patients could focus solely on their recovery without any additional worries. At Prestige, we prioritize making the recovery process as smooth as possible, especially since the first 24 to 48 hours post-surgery are the most critical.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting our aftercare business during the pandemic presented many challenges. We faced numerous restrictions in Los Angeles and encountered the typical growing pains that any new company experiences. It was a demanding process to find and assemble the best team to help bring our vision to life. Was it easy? No. However, we persevered and overcame the limitations that challenged us, ultimately creating something special that our patients can appreciate in the way we care for them.
What matters most to you?
The care my patients receive and the experiences they have while they are here are what matter most to me. My staff understands how serious I am about providing exceptional service, and I am grateful that we are all aligned in our mission. When someone stays at Prestige, my aim is to ease their healing process as much as possible. If I can achieve that, I feel fulfilled knowing I have made a positive impact.
