Hidden Gems: Meet Stephanie Johnwell of Snatched by Stephanie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Johnwell.

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Upon being laid off of my job of close to 30 years, I had to reinvent myself. I happened upon body-sculpting and became certified; from there, I decided to become a licensed esthetician and expand my services. After receiving my license and certifying in specialty areas post-graduation, my business services now include: Body-sculpting, Skincare, and Spray-tanning–to include mobile services in these three areas.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a business takes a lot of work–especially getting the business off the ground. Since my business is home-based, there are challenges in getting people to take a leap of faith on someone they are not familiar, hence, a lot of my business has been based on word of mouth. Funding is an issue as well; since being laid off of my job, I no longer have the source of income that I was accustomed to and have had to reinvest whatever I make back into the business. Door-knocking can be challenging as well as collaborating with local businesses–everyone is focused on expanding their own enterprise.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Snatched by Stephanie?
My business provides overall make-over services without undergoing surgery. My body-sculpting skills are impeccable, and I feature my results with visible before and after measurements of my clients. Through my skincare services, I am seeing great results with my clients, and I have been told that I am a “hidden gem in the Valley.” And finally, with my spray-tanning services, clients can achieve an overall flawless look, regardless of their skin tone.

I am proud of my body of work because I can visibly see the transformation of my clients from the inside out.

I care. It is more than about making money; it’s about transforming lives.
