Hidden Gems: Meet Philip Schulte of PR Plugs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Philip Schulte.

Hi Philip, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am an entrepreneur and published author. I began my journey in high school when I was 16. I was an avid user of Craigslist, and before I could even drive I was buying, selling, and trading cars. I began with a $1,000 Oldsmobile, and over 50+ deals turned that car into a few hundred thousand dollars. I continued doing this through college, even during my collegiate football career. Since football was so demanding, I would often fly down to SoCal on weekends to pick up cars and drive them back to the Seattle area. I double-majored in business in college, and after I held multiple cooperate roles at various companies. I never felt passionate about building someone else’s dream, but I did learn many valuable skills.

I began my own company – a full-service PR and Social Media Marketing company by the name of PR Plugs. My company works with brands, celebrities, entrepreneurs, models, artists, athletes, etc. and helps tell their stories to the world. Our mission is to make them as prominent online as possible. As I mentioned, I am a published author as well. My book, The Eight H’s; a Young Person’s Guide for the Real World, is set to release next month. I was featured in Forbes for my book, so I’m excited to get it out to the public and help as many people as possible. At the end of the day, helping others is what I’m passionate about.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road to get to where I am, but I’m thankful for the eventful journey. I’ve learned so much through difficult times. In pursuit of my football dream, I attended four different universities. I was practically living out of a suitcase. After college graduation, I moved to LA – a decision I made in a matter of days. At one point, I was living out of my car until I figured out all of the details. Just like many entrepreneurs, there were many times when I felt lost or didn’t know where my life was headed. I had many great ideas, but I did not know where to begin. Life has a funny way of working out when you least expect it to.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
PR Plugs works with prominent brands, celebrities, athletes, entrepreneurs, artists, models, and many others to shed light on their most recent developments and stories. We work with dozens of top news outlets and provide a plethora of social media services as well. We do everything in-house, from our creative team of skilled writers to our talented media reps. We are quickly building a name for ourselves by working with some of the biggest names in social media and in the entertainment industry in general. We provide only the highest quality to our clients, and that’s what we will continue doing. Our clients’ satisfaction and well-being is our only priority.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My parents played a big role in my success. They have always supported me and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Both of them have remarkable stories, and I consider them to be the most intelligent and caring people I know. They are always helping others.
