Today we’d like to introduce you to Par Chadha.

Par, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It’s been a journey. I didn’t start out with a perfect grand plan, and there’s been a lot of evolution along the way. I’ve worked in different places, different industries. There was a time where I did data entry… I’ve done it all. I’ve been the guy who stayed behind in the office on Friday nights because work had to be done. In the early days, I was just trying to do a good job, trying to make things better wherever I was.

What’s been consistent for me is staying curious and always learning. I’ve always wanted to feel things before they were fully baked. That’s how I operate. Whether it’s with business, new markets, or people, I want to experience it, be there early, and get a sense before everyone else shows up.

I’ve been lucky to build and lead some pretty significant things. But I think what’s helped is that I don’t just sit in an ivory tower. I go to the offices, I travel, and I sit with the teams. I’ve flown 21 hours, landed at 4am, and gone straight to the office by 9am. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to see it for myself.

And along the way, I’ve also learned a lot about what not to do. There have been disappointments. But that’s life. You pick up, you adjust, and you go again. So, it’s not been a straight line. But I think that’s what’s made it real.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been struggles all along the way. I’ve had disappointments, and I always say that happens with everything you do. That’s part of building. That’s part of growing. You can’t expect it to be easy.

Sometimes, you walk into something thinking you know the answer, and then you find out you were completely wrong. Or you spend time building something, only to realize the people involved don’t want the same thing. You have to adjust. You have to move fast. But you also have to be patient in the moments that count.

And personally, too, it’s not like I always had everything figured out. There were times I didn’t realize how much my time away from home was affecting the people closest to me. So no, not smooth. But I think if it were smooth, I probably wouldn’t have learned much.

What I’m most proud of is that we back real companies, with real missions, and we help shape them. Not from a distance, but right there with them.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned has been that you have to make the people around you successful. If the people who work for you succeed, their success gets recognized by others, and that creates momentum. It creates loyalty. It creates leadership.

You cannot just manage from the top down. If people feel like you’re doing something to help them, they will sponsor the mission with you. It becomes theirs. And when people feel that kind of ownership, they perform differently. That’s when you get a real operational model that almost runs itself.
