Hidden Gems: Meet Kingdom Gould of Gaia Green Earth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kingdom Gould.

Kingdom Gould

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hey there, I’m Kingdom Daniel Gould, but most folks call me Zip. Buckle up because I’m about to take you on a ride through the streets of my life – from the gritty blocks of North St. Louis to the grand stages of entrepreneurship and beyond.

Growing up in those rough Northside St. Louis streets wasn’t a walk in the park, let me tell you. I saw friends killed and poverty but you know what they say – tough times build tough people. And boy, was I raised tough, mostly by the incredible women in my life. My grandma, Carrie Gould, she was a civil rights crusader during the Selma movement, a force of nature fighting for justice. And then there’s my mom, Rev. Dr. Cassandra Gould, who carried on that torch of activism, championing grassroots campaigns to transform criminal justice systems across the country. Those women, they’re my heroes. Their resilience, and their fight for what’s right, all seeped into me and shaped who I became. a Warrior and Guardian of Earth.

Those streets, diverse as they were, showed me a world that could coexist in harmony. Different races faiths – all sharing the same pavement. That’s where I learned that unity is more than a buzzword; it’s a real, achievable thing.

College brought a whole new chapter. Creativity ran wild in my veins. I acted, produced events, strutted my stuff on the fashion scene – all while diving into design and architecture studies. It’s like a lightbulb went off – I realized I could shape spaces and experiences, just like I could shape the world.

After college, life threw curveballs – as it often does. Living almost a duplicitous existence, at night times in clubs and during the day. I found myself working alongside Dr. Mike Stevenson, a big-shot metallurgist. Sounds fancy, right? I was knee-deep in failure analysis and exploring materials science. From there, I hopped into the world of wireless networks, working on projects that eventually got gobbled up by Sprint.

But I’m not just an engineer at heart – I’m a dreamer too. So, I founded Gaia Green Earth and Gaia 5G, where sustainability meets innovation. From homes to whole communities, I wanted to create products that didn’t just exist but thrived and contributed to a better world.

But wait, there’s more! Sports became my thing – track and field, to be exact. Representing Liberia on a professional level was a dream come true. And even though I missed out on that ’08 4×400 team by a hair, I was in the game. And hey, ever seen “We Are Marshall”? Yep, that’s me as Joe Hood, number 33, on the original Marshall Team. Sports even led me to become a sports agent, rubbing shoulders with NFL, NBA, and Olympic legends.

Entertainment joined the mix too. Collaborating with actors and entertainers, I realized we could weave stories that transcended screens. It was this fusion of tech and creativity that fueled our media business. And then came the metaverse – an uncharted playground for us creators.

Decentralized platforms are the next frontier. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be part of Web 3 and 4? As the digital landscape evolved, I have evolved with it. Crafting digital twins that are as boundary-pushing as it imaginative, I embrace the challenge of creating for a brave new world.

So, here I am, still dreaming, still shaping, and still believing in the power of love and harmony. From those gritty streets to the grand stages, my journey – my story – is a testament to resilience, a tribute to the women who shaped me, and a celebration of a world that can truly thrive together.

Remember, it’s not just about where you’ve been but where you’re headed. And I’m headed towards a world painted with the hues of unity, driven by innovation, and stitched together with love. Call me Zip – it’s been one wild ride, and it’s not over yet.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Growing up in St. Louis felt like a constant battle for survival. Seeing my mother navigate parenthood and womanhood with grace while providing us with the best education truly shaped my sister and me. We were inspired by her strength and style…

Wow, a deep question indeed! For me, my faith is the cornerstone of what matters most in my life. Without the guidance and strength that my faith in God provides, I wouldn’t be who I am today. During my lowest times, when I was homeless and sleeping in my car, it was my deep faith that gave me the courage to see beyond my current situation and believe in a brighter future. Faith truly matters the most to me.
