Exploring Life & Business with Sarkis Budagyan of Sarcobskin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarkis Budagyan.

Hi Sarkis, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started SarcoBSkin in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic. Like many people, that time pushed me to reflect on what truly made me happy and I kept coming back to skincare. I had always loved it, even before I knew what I was doing. I still remember going to the Estée Lauder counter at the mall, trying out moisturizers and serums, and feeling pure excitement.

At the time, I was working in the health and fitness industry, but I knew it was time for a change. I originally thought I’d go into makeup, but very quickly, I realized it wasn’t just about the glam for me- it was the skin underneath that I was obsessed with. Prepping and caring for the skin became my passion, and that’s what sparked the beginning of SarcoBSkin.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While there have definitely been some bumps along the way, each challenge has taught me valuable lessons. Fortunately, I hit the ground running because I’m incredibly passionate about what I do and have devoted so much time and effort to building Sarcobskin. One of the biggest struggles has been staying true to my values in an industry that constantly chases trends. It can be tempting to jump on every new skincare fad, but I remind myself that real results come from understanding skin—not just following what’s popular. My focus has always been on treating every skin type with intention and care, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. Ultimately, these experiences have shaped my journey and helped me create a stronger vision for what I’m building. Finding the perfect extension of myself took some time, but it was so worth it! Soon, I’ll have two talented aestheticians joining me to create magic at Sarcobskin.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At Sarco B Skin, I’m excited to work out of two beautiful spaces—one in Studio City and another in Burbank. As someone who is energy-sensitive, I truly cherish the ability to switch up my scenery. Each location has its own unique charm that enhances the overall experience for both me and my clients. I’ve always envisioned building a team, and I’m thrilled that soon I’ll have two talented aestheticians collaborating with me at both spaces!

I specialize in facial massage and corrective skincare, with an approach grounded in continuous education. I invest time in advanced training for facial massage techniques, product knowledge, and ingredient science. Learning directly from chemists and engaging with brand-specific modules keeps me current and intentional with every treatment.

What truly sets Sarco B Skin apart is that facial massage is at the core of everything I offer, whether it’s a chemical peel, Hydrafacial, or a customized skin treatment. I believe in the transformative power of touch—not just for the skin, but for the entire experience. Each facial becomes a sensory journey that incorporates sound, scent, and intentional techniques, leaving you feeling deeply cared for.

I’m incredibly proud to partner with reputable skincare brands like Hydrafacial, VI Peel, iS Clinical, SkinBetter, SkinCeuticals, Alastin, and OSEA. This allows me to blend clinical, pharmaceutical-grade skincare with more natural options tailored to each individual’s needs. Every service is designed to support your skin barrier and elevate your glow; my goal is for your skin to look and feel even better than when you walked in. More than just a treatment, it’s a moment of true restoration.

I want readers to know that at Sarco B Skin, you’re not just getting a service; you’re embarking on a journey of rejuvenation and self-care. I can’t wait to share this experience with more clients as my team grows!

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is that each client feels truly cared for—both in their skin and in their overall experience. I’m deeply devoted to building real connections and supporting my clients through every phase of their skin journey, meeting them exactly where they are.

Of course, achieving results is important—but equally important is creating a space where people feel safe, comfortable, and confident enough to trust the process. Skincare is personal, and I want every person who walks into my treatment room to feel seen, heard, and empowered in their own skin.
