Today we’d like to introduce you to Peelahr Moore

Hi Peelahr, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from The Bronx, but I’ve lived in LA for almost 10 years.

My journey with astrology began in New York City on the way to high school. Every morning, coming out of the subway in Manhattan, I’d pick up the free newspaper AMNY and check out the horoscope section for my two besties and I. It would give a rating out of 10 on the difficulty of the day. I loved getting tips on the day’s general vibe and what to watch out for or lean into. As I dug deeper into astrology I came to learn that most horoscopes are based on the rising sign. (Raises hands – The More You Know lol)

As a Scorpio, I’ve always been drawn to understanding the deeper layers of life, and astrology felt like the perfect tool for that. Over the years, it’s helped me so much with my personal growth, and even more so in understanding my family—especially my two Taurus boys, who have such different personalities despite sharing the same sun sign. That connection with astrology became something I wanted to share with others, and that’s really how Moore Likely came to life.
Before I started my own business, I spent over 15 years working as a creative professional with brands like Netflix, Fandango, MTV, Entrepreneur Magazine, and Amazon. Those experiences shaped my approach to Moore Likely, where I get to combine my creativity with my passion for astrology.

As a mom, astrology gave me the confidence to parent in a way that felt aligned with my boys, and I realized how powerful it could be for other parents too. I wanted to create tools that would help other families feel more connected and in tune with each other.

My goal is to make astrology insights easily applicable and accessible, it’s all there to help affirm your intuition.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I worked for Netflix for 4 years and was recently laid off this summer. But it’s been the best thing for me.

I loved editing trailers and teasers for titles I was a fan of like Scott Pilgrim, the animated series, and Vikings Valhalla. It felt like I made it to the top of my field and I had. But I always knew I wanted to work for myself.

Even as I joined Netflix I told myself the next step after working there would be starting my own business. And here I am. It was the ultimate push I needed to pursue my passion and dreams full time.

The goal of Moore Likely is to bring astrology into the home in an accessible and tangible way. I’m most proud of how Moore Likely makes astrology approachable. I’ve always believed that astrology can be a powerful guide, but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or esoteric. I’ve created tools that simplify it for families and individuals to easily apply and track insights.

A LOT! I’m a Scorpio, so naturally I tend to keep things close to the chest.
