Exploring Life & Business with Natasha Soto of WOWYOURBROWZ

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Soto

Hi Natasha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, by my single mother. Growing up in a big city, I always had a passion for making people feel good about themselves. At just 11 years old, I learned how to braid hair—not just as a creative outlet but also as a way to earn money. Life wasn’t easy; my mother worked hard to provide for us, and I had to grow up fast. I eventually dropped out of school to work full-time, landing my first job at Wendy’s. Even then, I had a hustler’s mentality—I knew I wanted more for myself, even if it meant working harder than the next person.

I was always the go-to friend when it came to getting ready. My specialty? Eyebrows. I had a natural talent for shaping and fixing brows, long before I even knew it could be a career. When my mother decided to move us to Orlando, Florida, for a better life, I was 19. The transition wasn’t easy—I had built my comfort zone in New York. I went back and forth for a while but eventually put down roots in Florida.

In Florida, I became a mother to two beautiful daughters. While scrolling on Instagram one day, I came across a brow artist who specialized in microblading. She was young, a mom like me, and making a great living doing something she loved. That moment changed everything. I had no idea I could turn my passion for brows into a career. Inspired, I invested in myself and took my first brow course. That decision changed my life.

From there, I hustled. I worked two to three jobs while being a single mother, building my brow business from the ground up. I later trained in lash extensions, but brows were my true calling—it felt natural, artistic, and fulfilling. I refused to give up, no matter how hard it got. And strangely, I wasn’t afraid either—this was one of the few things I dove into with zero fear of failing.

Then, love came knocking. My childhood crush and I reconnected, but he lived in California. After a long-distance relationship, I decided to take a leap—I moved across the country with my daughters, closing my business, selling all my beauty products, and becoming a stay-at-home mom.

During my pregnancy with my son, COVID hit. The world shut down, and so did my sense of purpose. I missed my business, my clients, my independence—everything I had built in Florida. Moving to California was already a culture shock, and the isolation of the pandemic made it even harder. I had no family in California—just me, my daughters, and the most supportive spouse I could ever ask for. If it weren’t for his unconditional love, patience, and selflessness, I wouldn’t be where I am today. His support reminded me of my worth and pushed me to chase my dreams all over again.

So, I started from scratch—this time in California. It took just one decision, and I was on fire again.

Now, three years later, I’ve gone from a small suite to a thriving beauty business in Claremont, California. I don’t just shape brows—I mentor and train other like-minded women who want to build careers in the beauty industry. I even launched an online brow course to teach my techniques to people all over the world. But I’m not stopping there—I’m now on the path to becoming a medical aesthetic nurse, expanding my expertise while continuing to do what I love: making people feel confident and beautiful.

This journey started with a simple passion, a hustler’s mindset, and an unwavering belief that I was meant for more. And now, I’m living proof that no matter how many times you start over, you can always build something greater than before.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge was moving to California without knowing anyone and being away from my family. I had no support system, no word-of-mouth referrals, and no past clients to rely on—I had to build everything from scratch. Not only was I working to establish my business in a completely new place, but I was also trying to find my village, build a community, and ensure my daughters felt safe, comfortable, and secure in an unfamiliar environment. It was a lot to juggle, but I was determined to make it work.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am the founder of a thriving brow business in Claremont, California, specializing in brow shaping, laminations, waxing, tinting and Lash lifts. My passion lies in creating beautifully shaped brows that enhance confidence and transform appearances. I’m known for my ability to reshape and “save” brows, giving clients results they never thought possible.

What truly sets me apart is my genuine connection with my clients. Building relationships and creating a welcoming space is just as important to me as perfecting brows. I love hearing their stories, sharing laughs, and being a part of their self-care journey. That trust and bond mean everything.

Beyond my services, I’m also deeply committed to education and mentorship. I offer one-on-one, group, and online brow courses, helping aspiring artists build their own success in the beauty industry. I know what it’s like to start from nothing, which is why I pour my heart into teaching both the art and business of brows.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the impact I’ve made—whether it’s boosting a client’s confidence or helping a student launch their dream career. My business isn’t just about brows; it’s about educating, empowering & inspiring. I want people to know that when they sit in my chair or take my course, they’re not just getting a service—they’re gaining a lifelong connection and a push toward their best selves.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is creating genuine relationships, delivering unforgettable “WOW” moments through my services, and building meaningful connections with my clients. I want every person who sits in my chair to feel seen, valued, and empowered, not just by the transformation of their brows but by the experience itself. The relationships I build with my clients are what make my work so fulfilling.

Beyond my business, my biggest motivation is my children. Everything I do is to show them what’s possible with hard work, passion, and perseverance. I want to be the best role model—someone they can look up to, learn from, and be proud of. My goal is to teach them that success isn’t just about what you achieve but about the impact you make and the connections you build along the way.
