Exploring Life & Business with Maddie Wine of MadGlow Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maddie Wine.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
MadGlow Beauty started five years ago at one of the lowest times in my life. I was a single mom working nights in the hospitality industry, taking naps in my car while waiting to pick up my kids, and just trying to make ends meet. I felt like I was losing myself mentally, emotionally, and physically, and I knew something had to change.

When I started MadGlow, my goal was simple — make an extra $1,000 a month to give myself some breathing room each month. I had two roommates who were kind enough to let me use our living room to see clients, one of them designed my logo, and my childhood best friend actually came up with the name MadGlow because I was about to go with something basic. What began as a tiny side hustle in the middle of the pandemic has turned into something I never could’ve imagined.

Now, five years later, MadGlow has grown into a full beauty and wellness studio, but more importantly, it’s become a space for women to create opportunities for themselves. I never want another woman to feel stuck in a job, relationship, or situation that drains the life out of her just because she depends on it financially. Along with body sculpting, I’ve shifted my focus to teaching other women how to build their own businesses and create the kind of freedom and confidence I fought so hard to find. Helping women create lives they truly love will always be at the heart of everything I do.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. I think starting a business is one of the quickest ways to learn where you need to grow as a person. When your brand reflects who you are, it also highlights the areas you still need to work on — whether that’s setting boundaries, staying consistent, or finding balance.

There have been plenty of ups and downs over the years, but the biggest lesson for me has been learning how to keep showing up no matter what’s happening in the moment. As a mom and a business owner, there’s always something pulling for your attention. It’s taken a lot of growth to learn how to stay grounded and keep my foot on the gas even when life feels heavy.

As you know, we’re big fans of MadGlow Beauty. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
MadGlow Beauty is a body sculpting and wellness studio focused on helping women look and feel their best through non-invasive treatments like cavitation, radiofrequency skin tightening, and lymphatic drainage. The goal is to help our clients feel their best in their skin in hopes that it will help improve their mental health and the way they show up in their many roles in life.

Over the past five years, MadGlow has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. We’ve built a strong community of clients who’ve trusted us for years, and that loyalty means everything to me. It’s a space where women feel comfortable, taken care of, and confident again.

Beyond services, we also teach certification classes for women who want to start their own businesses in the beauty and wellness space. That’s become a huge part of what MadGlow stands for – helping women create independence and opportunity for themselves the same way I did when I started.

How do you think about luck?
I don’t really see the success of MadGlow as luck. I’ve always been very intentional about how I plan for MadGlow and how I move in general. My days start with affirmations to get my energy right before I interact with my family or clients, because I believe things don’t happen to us — they happen for us.

When I started MadGlow, I was a single mom with no background in beauty, wellness, or business. My experience was teaching violin lessons and working in hospitality — neither of which had anything to do with what I do now. But I’ve learned that the effort you put into something will always come back multiplied when your intentions are good.

Any rejection I’ve faced has been redirection, and anything or anyone I’ve lost has been replaced by something that fits better with the life I’m building. That’s been true in both business and in my personal life. I genuinely believe that when you move with good intentions, everything eventually works out in your favor.
