Hi LUSINE, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into the world of aesthetics and wellness was deeply personal. I come from a background rooted in care and service, and I’ve always been drawn to the idea of helping women feel confident, radiant, and strong in their own bodies. After working in healthcare and beauty for several years, I saw a gap—women were looking not just for results, but for connection, understanding, and empowerment.

That vision inspired me to open Lakshmi Med Spa. “Lakshmi” represents beauty, abundance, and feminine energy—values that resonate deeply with the mission of my business. Starting out, I wore every hat—from practitioner to receptionist to marketer—and learned the ins and outs of building a brand from the ground up. It wasn’t easy, but every challenge helped shape the experience we offer today.

Now, Lakshmi Med Spa is known for body sculpting, advanced facials, and results-driven treatments—but more importantly, for the way we make our clients feel: seen, supported, and transformed. This is more than a business to me; it’s a calling.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but I believe those challenges shaped both me and my business into what they are today. One of the biggest obstacles came early on, when I had a business partner. We started the spa together, but after about 10 months, when things weren’t growing as fast as we’d hoped, she left—completely disheartened and disappointed. Not only did I feel emotionally let down, but I was also left with a significant amount of debt and all the responsibilities on my shoulders.

At that moment, I had every reason to walk away—but I didn’t. I dug in deeper. I believed in the vision, even when it felt like no one else did. I learned to pivot, to market myself better, to trust my instincts, and to create a space that reflected my own standards and heart.

That experience taught me that no one will fight for your dream the way you will. It also gave me a kind of clarity and strength I didn’t know I had. Now, looking back, I see that as the turning point that pushed me to grow—not just as a business owner, but as a woman.

Lakshmi Med Spa is more than a beauty destination—it’s a space where transformation, healing, and confidence come together. We specialize in body sculpting, advanced facials, and customized skin and wellness treatments designed to help women look and feel their best. But beyond the services, our true focus is empowerment—helping women reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their confidence, and invest in themselves unapologetically.

What sets us apart is the intention behind everything we do. We don’t rush treatments or follow cookie-cutter protocols. Every client receives a tailored experience based on their goals, body type, skin condition, and lifestyle. Whether someone comes in for a lymphatic drainage massage or a full body contouring package, they leave feeling lighter—physically and emotionally.

The name “Lakshmi” holds deep meaning—it symbolizes abundance, beauty, and divine feminine energy. That energy is woven into our brand. I’m most proud of the community we’ve built—a space where clients feel safe, supported, and celebrated. We speak to the woman who works hard, takes care of everyone else, and is finally ready to pour into herself.

For readers new to our brand, I’d want them to know that we don’t just focus on the outside—we honor the whole woman. Our offerings combine science, aesthetics, and intuitive care to deliver results that radiate from the inside out.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t just about numbers or how busy the calendar is—it’s about impact. It’s when a client looks in the mirror and smiles for the first time in a long time. It’s when someone tells me they feel confident wearing something they used to avoid, or that their self-esteem has improved because of the care they received here. That’s success.

On a personal level, success is also about freedom and alignment—being able to create a business that reflects who I am, to provide for my family, and to do it with heart and integrity. I’ve had to rebuild more than once, and every time I chose not to give up—that resilience, that belief in something bigger—that’s what success feels like to me.

So yes, I celebrate growth and milestones, but the real win is waking up every day doing work that feels meaningful, in service of others, and in alignment with the woman I’ve become.
