Today we’d like to introduce you to Krista Karpan Nicolette McIntyre.
Hi Krista Karpan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
In 2017, longtime friends Krista and Nicolette set out to build something of their own, rooted in what they knew best: marketing and fashion. In the early days, they offered a wide range of services, from organic social to influencer marketing, but quickly discovered a shared affinity for performance-driven growth. Their focus soon sharpened around Paid Social and Search Ads, Email Marketing, and Content Production.
By 2020, they refined their service offerings and doubled down on the industries they understood deeply and had a background in – jewelry, fashion, beauty, and home. That clarity became the foundation of the agency as it exists today.
Since then, they’ve partnered with more than 60 brands and generated over $155M in revenue for eCommerce clients, earning recognition along the way, including Meta’s 2025 Boutique Agency- Performance Campaign of the Year. What began as a friendship and a vision has evolved into a results-driven agency trusted by category-defining brands.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Success is never linear, and we have felt that struggle most with growing our team. While having to pivot is a necessity in any business, ours came with hiring for roles we never foresaw the crucial need for, as well as developing new service offerings to best suit our client’s needs. None of it came with a roadmap. Every step required us to learn, adapt, and build systems as we went. For example, this year alone, we lost 2 key hires while Krista was out on maternity leave and as we entered our busiest time of the year – Black Friday Cyber Monday.
This was an extreme challenge that we overcame with adapting and shifting in a way so that our team is now working in a more efficient manner. We survived BFCM, and actually won a prestigious award along the way.
