Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazzae Verse.
Hi Jazzae, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The 2Valid Collection is a clothing brand I started based of an interest in T-shirt making. I first started learning how to do my own t-shirt printing for other people but then I wanted to create something of my own that had substance and meaning. I played around with words and slogans I felt had great meaning to me and that I could relate to and there we had “Valid”. I played around with making a cool logo for a t-shirt and once I did, I released it to my social media. From there, the rest was history. So many people felt that they could resonate with the brand meaning and I began receiving a great amount of support. To me a Valid person is someone who is such a dope soul. They have their stuff in order, a genuine good vibe that people gravitate to. They are unique and are unmatched in the things they pursue. Fast forward to today, The 2Valid collection is now a female-based clothing brand consisting of different styles of women’s fashion. We are 100% online and have catered to women all over the US. I am so proud of how I turned an idea into a dream I never knew I had come true. I enjoy motivating and inspiring others to find their hidden talents and passions.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Having any type of business in general is never a smooth road and I think that’s what makes it so rewarding in the end. A few struggles I endured during my journey so far happened a lot in the beginning. When I decided to move forward with creating the clothing brand, it was hard to find good quality manufacturers. That process is always trial and error. I also struggled with trying to finding an audience to cater to. After some analytic studying and understanding my numbers, I figured out that ladies were my main customers. From there on, I reshaped my brand to be specifically for them.

The 2Valid Collection is a female-based clothing brand that specializes in loungewear and streetwear for ladies. While our brand is appealing fashion-wise, the message behind it is what I love and people love about it. Being Valid is something that comes naturally. A Valid person has this dope vibe that is unmatched! People hear their name and automatically know this person is legit, positive, on their stuff! They’re unique, people gravitate to their genuine souls. I feel like so many people can relate to that. A brand with substance will always stand apart from the others. Our brand offers an array of items that go from a chill feel to a designer look while staying affordable giving all our ladies a chance to look and feel good.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Some advice I have for people starting out is to START! Starting is always the hard part. Our minds have a way of talking us out of brilliant ideas when we become uncomfortable because of the fear of failing. Failing is a part of the journey so you can come back stronger the next go around. Another piece of advice would be to network! Be extrovert when it comes to building your business. Take in what you can from others ahead of you, create those relationships and get your brand out there. Lastly, remember it’s a journey not a race. Pace yourself and only worry about your progress. Comparing yourself to others can often make you become discouraged. Stay encouraged and keep going!
