Exploring Life & Business with Haley Williams and Taylor Wijemanne of Little STACKS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Williams and Taylor Wijemanne. 

Hi Haley and Taylor, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name’s Haley; I’m the brunette 🙋🏻‍♀️! Hi, my name’s Taylor; I’m the blonde 🙋🏼‍♀️! And we are the founders of little STACKS. 

As two jewelry-loving, always-down-for a-DIY-project mamas, we wanted to create something fun we could do with our two girls (of course, they’re still a little too young), and so little STACKS was created! It has been so much fun creating these kits, and we hope they can play a small part in making memories with your littles. 

It’s been so fun seeing our vision come to life and having this creative outlet to share with everyone. We are so proud of what we have accomplished in the short time since our official launch in September. We are currently in 5 stores in the SoCal area, and we have our online shop on Etsy. We are looking forward to seeing little STACKS on everyone and seeing this business continue to grow. 

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
For as quickly as this idea came to fruition, it has been pretty smooth. We have learned so much and changed so much already since launching in September. Being a mom, of course, nothing goes as planned, and life happens, and things take a little longer than we may have anticipated, but all in all, it has been pretty smooth. 

We’ve been impressed with Little STACKS, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our DIY Jewelry Bead Kits cater to every market, and we say they are truly ageless (we never take ours off!). If your child ever made you a piece of jewelry, how could you take it off, so we wanted to create something fun to do with kids but also make it so cute you’d want to wear it every day. We hand-pick and pack every bead and have thought through every kit and style to make it unique, fun, and cute! As we say: CUTE, CREATIVE, and CUSTOM. 

What matters most to you? Why?
Our children are always our first priority, and so we wanted to have an outlet that revolves around them and also something we could do together. Since we decided to not go back to work and be with our babies, we wanted to be able to do something as well that would not require a lot of time away from them. This was the perfect fit!
