Hi Elina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My Story
With a degree in Communications and an endless curiosity for people and cultures, I’ve always been drawn to movement, connection, and creativity. I’ve never been the type to settle for the ordinary — I’ve always believed that every day should bring something new to discover, create, or be inspired by.
Travel has been one of the most important parts of my journey. I’ve visited many countries, because for my personality it was never enough to just imagine what’s beyond — I had to see it, feel it, and experience it myself. Exploring the world helped me understand how beauty, celebration, and design take different forms in every culture — and that inspired me deeply.
My early career took me into the corporate world, where I worked as a remote manager connecting with people across the globe. Technically, I sat in an office — but in reality, I was having conversations with teams on different continents (speaking four languages helped a lot!). I loved my work, but deep down I knew I had too much energy and imagination for a desk job.
The idea of planning events had been in my mind for a long time, and my curiosity led me to try my hand at event photography. That was my turning point. Through the camera lens, I witnessed countless weddings and celebrations — I saw breathtaking setups, creative concepts, and sometimes missed opportunities. I could instantly tell when a planner had created magic — and when the small but important details were overlooked. That’s when I realized: the art of an event lives in its details, and that’s where my heart truly belonged.
When I became a bride myself, everything came full circle. I couldn’t imagine letting anyone else plan my own wedding — so, I did it myself. It was both the best and most challenging decision. Best — because it gave me hands-on experience and the joy of watching my vision come to life. Challenging — because it’s hard to be both the planner and the bride at once! But that experience gave me the final push to turn my passion into my purpose.
Soon after, I earned my certifications as a Wedding & Event Planner and Luxury Event Planner, officially stepping into the career I was meant for.
Today, I don’t feel like I “work” — I create experiences, design memories, and bring dreams to life. Because when you do what you truly love, it’s not just a job — it’s a lifestyle you enjoy every single day.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a perfectly smooth road. Every event comes with its own set of challenges — planning one can sometimes feel like putting together a giant puzzle, and not every piece fits the way you expect it to. You learn to adapt, to stay calm, and to find creative solutions when things don’t go as planned.
But for me, the biggest challenge wasn’t the logistics — it was believing in myself. Taking that first step and trusting that I could handle it all, even when it looked intimidating, was the hardest part. Over time, experience built confidence, and I realized that confidence truly is the key to success. Once you believe in your own abilities, everything else starts to fall into place.

Beyond that, I simply want to keep doing what I love: creating unforgettable experiences, spreading positive energy, and designing flawless, emotion-filled events that couples will cherish forever. For me, growth isn’t just about business — it’s about evolving with every event, learning, and continuing to make each celebration more beautiful than the last.
