Hi Ayse, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story began in Turkey, where I grew up with big dreams and a deep curiosity about how the world works. Education has always been very important to me — it opened doors and shaped the person I’ve become. Years ago, I made the brave decision to move to the United States to continue my studies and build a better future. It wasn’t easy at first — new language, new culture, and the challenge of finding my place. But every difficulty taught me something about resilience, patience, and believing in myself.

Professionally, I built a career in materials science, working in the chemical and plastics industries. I loved being part of innovation and problem-solving, but deep inside, I always felt a pull toward helping people — especially students who were just starting their own journeys abroad. I knew what it felt like to be in their shoes: excited but also overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, and longing for someone to truly guide them.

That’s how Unifind Consulting was born — from both experience and empathy. Together with my co-founders, we wanted to create a bridge between students’ dreams and real opportunities abroad. We guide them step by step, from finding the right program to settling into their new life. Every student’s success feels personal to me because I’ve walked that same path.

Looking back, I’m proud of how far we’ve come — not just in business, but in touching lives. Unifind isn’t just a company; it’s a reflection of hope, perseverance, and the belief that education can transform lives — just like it transformed mine.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s definitely been a journey of ups and downs. When I first came to the U.S., I had to rebuild everything from the ground up — my career, my community, my sense of belonging. There were language barriers, cultural adjustments, and moments of self-doubt. But every challenge became part of my growth.

Starting Unifind while balancing a full-time job and family life was another big challenge. There were long nights, endless paperwork, and times when I questioned if I was doing enough. But each obstacle reminded me why I started — to make the process easier for students who are brave enough to chase their dreams abroad. Those hard moments built the heart of Unifind: empathy, authenticity, and a deep understanding of what it means to start over.

As you know, we’re big fans of Unifind Consulting. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Unifind Consulting helps international students — especially from Turkeye— navigate their journey to study in the United States, Canada, or Europe. We guide them through every step: from finding the right program and preparing strong applications to understanding visa processes and adapting to life abroad.

To me, success isn’t just about personal achievements or business growth — it’s about the impact you make on others. For Unifind, success is helping a student navigate the challenges of studying abroad and seeing them reach a place they once thought was out of reach. It’s in the moment they get accepted into their dream university, take that first step on a new campus, or realize that their hard work and courage have opened doors to a brighter future.

Every student we guide is a reminder that our work matters. When we help them transform uncertainty into opportunity, and dreams into reality, that’s the truest measure of success. For me, knowing that we’ve played a part in changing someone’s life for the better — that is what success truly feels like.
