Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been telling stories since I was a very young. Because I was the introverted nerdy kid who’d rather write stories and read them then play handball at recess. Fast forward a few years to when I discovered their power in courtrooms. They did not teach me how to do this in law school. But I had a huge talent for untangling a client’s messy trauma and spin it in a (often) whole-new-always-favorable-to-their-side-of-the-story way. Because stories win cases. She who tells the best story wins. And I can out story-tell the best of ‘em. I can tell stories about stories, I love stories so much. This talent has turned out to be a powerful business-getting tool. When you share something personal about your life, your business, your work, and a bunch of other topics and themes that I can teach you to identify so that you develop a cohesive “strategy” for using story to grow your business, you’ll find yourself CONNECTING DEEPER with your audience. And this is what leads to SALES. As a trial lawyer who has been helping my clients tell their stories for three decades, a law firm owner and entrepreneur who has owned several businesses throughout the years, I know that without clients, you don’t have a business. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggle was before the internet and social media when you had to refer solely on word of mouth marketing and referrals and yellow page ads, which were very expensive. The internet was a great equalizer. Suddenly due to technology, I had the ability to reach a huge audience. Then, the challenge became understanding what to say and how to say it to attract my ideal humans. Once I figured that out, I realized I have an unfair advantage over lawyers who are afraid to use technology to promote themselves or who don’t know what to say and therefore stay quiet. These days, when you’re quiet, you’re invisible.

I specialize in teaching professionals and business owners what to say and how to say it in their email, videos and social media so that they can get clients online. I help them align with their humanity and use social media, technology and paid advertising as a conduit for their authentic selves conveyed using story to resonate and connect deeply with an audience of humans they are meant to serve. I believe that the energetic transmission behind our digital communications is as powerful as the technology itself and can be used to create whatever life we dare to imagine for ourselves, in addition to being a tool for healing, economic freedom and social change.
