Davi Stefond of Los Angeles on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Davi Stefond shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Davi , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Giving myself grace has become a necessity—not a luxury. I’ve realized there’s no rush. There are times when it feels like I’m running out of time, but the truth is, I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. I haven’t missed anything. What’s meant for me will find me—as long as I keep showing up, doing the work, and honoring each step of the journey.
This profession isn’t easy, and it’s so tempting to chase the next goal right after reaching one. But I’m learning to pause. To celebrate. To not always ask, ‘Okay, what’s next?’ so quickly.
Each moment is worth cherishing.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Howdy, I’m Davi Stefond—an Army veteran originally from Dallas, Texas, now based in Los Angeles, California. I’m a rising actor with a unique energy and perspective that Hollywood hasn’t seen in a while. What sets me apart isn’t just where I’ve been, but the heart, discipline, and raw authenticity I bring to every role. This isn’t just a new chapter—it’s a whole new story.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Having deployed to Afghanistan and faced life-or-death situations, I’ve gained a perspective most people never experience. It taught me that we only get one shot at this life—so why hold back? Whatever dream or goal you have, chase it. We truly have nothing to lose except the regret of not going for it.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Through the darkness, there’s always light. No matter how heavy the journey gets, there’s always something worth fighting for.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’ve been on my own for a long time. Along the way, I’ve learned to love myself fully and lead with authenticity. I’ve never fit in—and I never tried to. Being different isn’t a flaw; it’s my power. I embrace every part of who I am. And those who are meant to see me… will see me. Period.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
Visually, people may have a certain idea or expectation of me. But trust—I’m so much more than what the eye sees.
