Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Khan.
Hi Steven, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’m a photographer working and living in Los Angeles. I moved to LA in ’93 and got an internship at one of the large photography studios. In ’97 I began to work full-time for a cosmetic line and was there for 21 years. End of ’18 went full freelance. Then a year later, the world went to shit. I’m very lucky to still be shooting and maintain life in LA.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life’s normal ups and downs… but I was having a blast. Then #metoo/Laid off/Covid/BLM. I have made it to the other side and starting to have a blast again.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a photographer. I specialize in cosmetics/Apparel.
Proud? My fine art photography.
I have a good understanding of workflow.
What makes you happy?
