Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Garrity.
Hi Sean, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My band FULL CIRCLE BOYS all share a very similar origin story. Growing up in the competitive dance world shaped our work ethic and musical inspirations. Working professionally opened us up to the other entrainment spaces; music, acting, film. Our love for dance blossomed into an even larger passion for music. Dancing alongside each other from the age of 8 years old until now young adults has instilled deep kinship with each other. Navigating the music industry with an independent venture has been very interesting for us and we feel we are just at the start of journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the challenges we face currently is trying to make waves on a major scale while simultaneously maintaining independence. Most if not all of our peers are signed and backed by major labels while we were formed organically and backed independently. Another challenge has been reaching the audience. It feels like it’s getting harder to connect on social media in a meaningful way. The algorithms are constantly changing and creators are taking the worst of it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Sean Garrity here, I am a member of the band Full Circle Boys. Within the band we all are songwriters, producers, musicians, dancers & actors given what is asked to create the highest entertainment value possible. Some other things we are involved behind the scenes is social media marketing, styling & networking.
