Daily Inspiration: Meet Samantha Moody

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Moody.

Hi Samantha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with SAMILEECO began with a passion for beauty and a desire to do things differently. I’ve always been drawn to makeup, and the originality of beauty, but I felt many beauty brands lacked personality and softness. I wanted to create a brand that felt girly, unique, and welcoming something that stood out beyond the typical beauty store experience.
Starting small, I focused on creating high-quality skincare, lip scrubs and glosses, and mink lashes that made people feel confident and beautiful. Over time, with dedication and growth, SAMILEECO evolved into the brand it is today rooted in creativity, self-love, and natural beauty.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting a beauty brand comes with a lot of trial and error, especially when you’re focused on the right products that appease all genders, and different skin types. Finding the right suppliers, perfecting formulas, and ensuring quality while staying true to my vision was challenging.

There were moments of doubt, slow sales periods, and learning curves with marketing and branding. But every obstacle taught me something valuable. Each setback helped me refine SAMILEECO and become more confident as a business owner.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
SAMILEECO is known for its luxury lip glosses, and mink lashes. We have upgraded the brand with products like, Lip Scrubs, and Swimwear, and Luxury Raw Bundles. I’m most proud of creating something that truly represents my vision. In an industry that can sometimes feel repetitive, SAMILEECO brings a soft, girly energy that feels authentic. What sets us apart is not just the products themselves, but the care, intention, and personality behind the brand.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
One piece of advice I would give to anyone just starting out is to begin before you feel completely ready. When I first started SAMILEECO, I thought everything had to be perfect the branding, the products, the launch. What I’ve learned is that growth comes through action. You refine as you go. Waiting for perfection can slow you down more than failure ever will.

I also wish I understood how important consistency is. Building a brand takes time, especially in the beauty industry. There will be slow seasons and moments where you question yourself, but staying consistent with your quality, your message, and your effort makes all the difference.

Most importantly, don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Focus on building something authentic. When you’re brand reflects who you truly are, it naturally stands out.
