Daily Inspiration: Meet Presence

Today we’d like to introduce you to Presence

Hi Presence, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Everyone has their own little story on how they became the person they are now. When it comes to my music career what got me started was covid. Pretty depressing time, and just graduated High school. Couldn’t go to college yet because of the lockdown; so I was just trying to see what was out there for me, and eventually I ended up making my first song called “Alone” I made that song because I think everyone knows and understand the feeling of being alone, some more than others. Also because I just got out of a relationship so I used some of that as inspiration, and after making the song I sent it to a gold track producer, just trying to see if he would email me back and to my surprised he did, he was down to mixed and master it, and once everything was done. I released it on YouTube and immediately the song went good, lots of friends and family were surprised, and I find myself surprised in some way. I never made a song before at that time, but I often wrote poetry and poems so it was all the same, and I realized that I find a natural talent I had. Throughout the years I’ve been progressively dropping new songs, and music videos, and now dropping vlogs, and soon to be still going back to my roots and releasing my poems and novels to the people that want to appreciate that side of me. I’ve gained thousands of listeners and subscribers, been feature on WorldStarHipHop website page and so on. I’ve eventually find my way in California, been here for almost a year now, and hoping to make a more major impact. To kinda highlight what kept me going was just a pure passion for what I like to do and the act of willing to actually do it and push your limits. Life is to short so I find it important to do what you want to do. We all have talent in some sort of ways. I hope whoever is reading this don’t give up in life. It can be tough, but it’s important we keep pushing, and you can used that to anything, college, work, it’s all the same..but I think it’s safe to say that my story is still beginning. We all have a story, and I hope you stay here to see the end of mines.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
To be quite honest it’s been a smooth road. I think the only hard part is just getting that more exposure, but I’m aware that stuff like that takes a lot more time and some luck.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m an independently artist. All you see has been solely me. Few major songs that’s known is “Titanic” “Alone” Business Is Business” “Illusion”. I made a lot of songs, but each song I make is better than the next. Honestly addictive to see how far I can take this. When it comes to what makes me proud of being an artist. It might sound cliche, but the listeners, the audience. The people feedback is what makes me keep going. I find it insane how people can relate to my music, and still be with me since the beginning. Never thought I’ll be the one to be an icon, and not to say that I shouldn’t be one, but never thought I’ll had the opportunity. I think what sets me apart from the others is my humanity. I’m very opened on how I feel and I like to show my appreciation each time I can.

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future is to continue doing what I’m doing now. Motivated, and productive. I really hope I reach my potential when it comes to how far I can take this music and now YouTube content.
