Daily Inspiration: Meet Minelli Eustácio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Minelli Eustácio.

Hi Minelli, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I fell in love with yoga in 2012 and have not stopped practicing. After completing my first teacher training in 2015, I was offered a job at my local studio and have been creating mindful spaces since then.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not always been smooth in the plains of tearing burn-out, running a yoga studio for 1.5 years, and then moving everything online during the pandemic. But, like anything worth having, the hard work has been insightful to continued growth.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a writer and mindfulness guide, teaching yoga and meditation with the grounding, perspective shifting, and mind opening qualities of intentional cannabis ritual. The most obvious thing that sets me apart from others are my teaching methods and how I reintroduce students to yoga and plant medicine as ceremony, rather than simple pastimes. I’m proud of the number of people whose lives I’ve influenced positively over the last 10 years, for running a yoga studio without prior experience, and for having contributed to a published book on how psychedelics can help save the world.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Reading is one of my favorite ways to unwind so I have a long list of books I could share. But I’ll stick to three of the most influential: ‘Pleasure Activism’ by Adrienne Marie Brown, ‘Rest is Resistance’ by Tricia Hersey, and ‘A New Earth’ by Ekhart Tolle
