Hi Matt, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began six years ago, inspired by my partner to dive into the world of makeup content creation. What started as a creative outlet turned into a true passion. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with amazing brands, develop my skills, and connect with a community that loves beauty as much as I do.
Now, I’m taking on one of my biggest dreams: creating a makeup line that combines elegance, versatility, and self-expression. Developing products that embrace inclusivity and elevate artistry is at the heart of this new chapter. The path hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, and I’m excited for everything that lies ahead
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely been an exciting journey, but not always a smooth one. Like any creative path, there have been challenges. One of the biggest struggles has been balancing the artistic side with the business side – especially now as I’m launching my own makeup line. There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that goes into product development, branding, and making sure everything aligns with my vision of inclusivity and quality.
Another challenge has been navigating the influencer space. It’s a competitive world, and staying true to my values while growing my presence has sometimes meant turning down offers that didn’t feel authentic. It’s taken resilience and a lot of learning, but each struggle has shaped me and brought me closer to creating something I’m truly proud of.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a makeup artist and content creator, specializing in looks that celebrate individuality and creativity. My work spans from product reviews and tutorials to creating visual content for brands, always with a focus on authenticity and artistry. I’m known for bold, vibrant looks and my ability to connect with my audience on a personal level.
What I’m most proud of is my current project—developing my own makeup line that reflects my commitment to inclusivity and quality. What sets me apart is my dedication to ensuring that every product feels accessible, yet high-end, and that everyone can see themselves in what I create. For me, makeup isn’t just about enhancing beauty; it’s about expressing who you are without limits.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I couldn’t have made it this far without the support of some incredible people, especially my partner, Wesley. From the very beginning, he’s been my biggest cheerleader, pushing me to step into this industry and encouraging me to stay true to myself. Wesley’s belief in me has been a constant source of motivation, and he’s been there every step of the way, from brainstorming creative ideas to celebrating every milestone.
I’m also grateful for my community – clients, collaborators, and followers who support my vision and keep me inspired. Their trust and feedback have been invaluable in helping me grow, and they’re a huge part of what keeps me passionate about what I do.
