Daily Inspiration: Meet Lionel Morada

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lionel Morada

Hi Lionel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was originally born in Cebu City, Philippines. Came to Los Angeles at the age 5. Moved to San Fernando Valley at the age 7. Parents got divorced shortly after. Moved all throughout the valley because my mother had ab abusive/stalker x boyfriend. Got introduced to crystal meth age 13. Dabbled with alcohol and drugs all throughout highschool until the age of 19 when I found out I was going to be a dad. Had my daughter at 20. Went into rehab relapsed shortly after and continued with drinking and drugs. Lost a friend at the age of 32. Had a second child age 34. Became sober for 6 years but still was unhappy and became depressed. Found God January 22, 2024.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Parents divorced at a young age.

Mother was in an abusive relationship.

Mother remarried with my step dad who suffered with a drug addiction.

We loat everything as a family during my teen years.

Family was ver disfunction.

Lived in a hotel with family at a certain point in my life.

Alcohol and drug addiction since i was 13.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Fitness trainer. Transformer over 100 clients. 6 years sober. Man of God.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Time is valuable.

Being sober and being a good person isnt enough.

God comes first and seek him as early as possible.
